Receiving 'No issuer certificate found for' error when making outbound REST Message calls.

I have the external REST API providers SSL certificate loaded into the Certificates configuration section and validated successfully:

find_real_file.png

When attempting to run a test for the REST Message, I receive the following error:

find_real_file.png

Here's the entry from the Outbound HTTP Log:

find_real_file.png

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Did some further SSL certificate validation via the following online tool.

Discovered that our Apache SSL configuration on our REST API server was not setup for our intermediate certificates.

Updated the configuration per these instructions, and now the REST Messages are testing successfully.

could you please share the instructions here i am also facing same issue

Hi,

You have an option to check the valid certificate in the service now. The above screenshot shows that UI action link as  'Validate Stores / Certificates' and confirm the validation.

If not valid, you should check with that 3rd party and confirm the certificate as well.
