Recent Chrome update broke ServiceNow's text highlighting

With the recent Chrome update to Version 131.0.6778.70 (Official Build) (64-bit), the texts and fields in ServiceNow suddenly cannot be highlighted. CTRL+A then copy then paste still works but highlighting texts using mouse or Shift + directional arrow does not work. I'll be submitting a ticket to HI but just starting this thread in case somebody has an insight to this.

Patch 9 will be out in December at some point.

Workaround UI script fixed on Chrome. We are still having issues with Edge version 131. Does anybody know if there is a workaround for Edge?

We just went to Edge 131 this morning and it seems to be working for us...so far

After logging out and logging back in, Copy/paste works.

After applying the script, the issue of highlighting text in records has been resolved. However we are still not able to highlight text on dashboards as we were before. Does anyone know of a fix for this?
