With the recent Chrome update to Version 131.0.6778.70 (Official Build) (64-bit), the texts and fields in ServiceNow suddenly cannot be highlighted. CTRL+A then copy then paste still works but highlighting texts using mouse or Shift + directional arrow does not work. I'll be submitting a ticket to HI but just starting this thread in case somebody has an insight to this.

I mentioned this above. Not sure of a timeframe of a fix, but we opened a case with ServiceNow earlier this week about this exact issue. They replied, "Hello David, Thank you for the videos. Our development team is reaching out to the dashboard team to see if they can amend the workaround script. We will keep you informed on this"

Hi David,
This is a bit embarrassing, but after raising my own incident with ServiceNow, I realised I hadn't cleared my brower cache since applying the UI Script yesterday. I did apply a cache clear in ServiceNow itself using the "instance name"/cache.do command yesterday. After clearing my browser cache itself a few moments again, I can confirm that I'm once again able to highlight text on dashboards, so this resolved the issue for us.

FYI: Our clients also experienced the issue with the scrollbar being hidden.
It was caused by Gramarly extension (or any other that updates the CSS properties)

It is happening in Edge for us as well. Edge is Chromium based,
We see it happening in the Legacy UI, but not in the Workspace UI.
