Recent Chrome update broke ServiceNow's text highlighting

With the recent Chrome update to Version 131.0.6778.70 (Official Build) (64-bit), the texts and fields in ServiceNow suddenly cannot be highlighted. CTRL+A then copy then paste still works but highlighting texts using mouse or Shift + directional arrow does not work. I'll be submitting a ticket to HI but just starting this thread in case somebody has an insight to this.

Looking to see if anyone has word back from SN Support on this??  Browser tricks for Edge not returning function.

We still have the issue, same as reported above:

WashDC Patch 8 on 10/31/24.  Chrome OK for users, copy/paste fails on Edge.

Chrome Version 130.0.6723.119 (Official Build) (64-bit), upgraded to Version 131.0.6778.70 (OB) (64-bit) - both worked.
Edge Microsoft Edge for Business - Version 131.0.2903.51 (Official build) (64-bit)

you would need to apply the UI script to fix the same. It worked in our case.

Thanks
Johnny

We had an update to Microsoft Edge this morning - now running version 131.0.2903.63 and it works again.

I confirm that with Edge Version 131.0.2903.63 (Official build) (64-bit) the highlighting problem is gone - UI script deleted 🙂
