Hi Community,

Recently I noticed the PDIs are going offline frequently with an upgrade message on developer portal. My self released 3 PDI instances in last 14 days. Is there any solution do anyone have? my recent PDI has also gone offline since yesterday.

The PDI mess is an embarrassment for ServiceNow. I wish they would come clean about what's going on.

Hello @Prasant Kumar 1 ,

There is no solution for this .This has been happening with multiple users these days. My instance also went offline after some time, but it came back online on its own.

You just need to wait for some time and then try logging in again. In rare cases, the instance may not come back online. If it still doesn’t come back after waiting for a while, you can release the instance and request a new one. Always remember if you are working on business requirement in pdi then always take its backup even work is done or in progress  , so if unfortunately pdi get offline it will not affect your work .

If this helps you then mark it as helpful and accept as solution.

Regards,

Aditya

@Prasant Kumar 1, click the Refresh button and give it a few minutes to wake up (or at least it's been a few minutes for me in most of the cases).

And also, ensure that you log with explicit login via
https://yourDomain.service-now.com/login.do as login via "Start building" button from the Dev portal is not counted as activity.

ServiceNow developers deserve better than the current PDI infrastructure mess.

I'd appreciated your support with this post, it's time get the company to listen and take action.
