Can anyone suggest a good book that would help with doing things in ServiceNow? I see there is the "ServiceNow Cookbook" and wanted to see if anyone has used this book or could suggest similar.
Here's a link to the book.
Thanks for any advice.

Hello carl
if you register on Packt Publishing | Technology Books, eBooks & Videos | and activate free trial, you have 30 days to browse through all ServiceNow ebooks online for free.
If you are active reader, it may be enough to read the whole book (+ there are other ServiceNow related ebooks like Learning ServiceNow, ServiceNow cookbook, etc.)
ServiceNow IT Operations Management
Learning ServiceNow
ServiceNow Cookbook
Mastering ServiceNow (1st & 2nd edition)
ServiceNow Automation and Orchestration
ServiceNow Application Development
thanks

Hi Carl,
I think you can best do is to go through Product Documentation | ServiceNow to understand in detail concepts of servicenow
Also in https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/home , you can go through developer and admin courses and create Marketing project.
I started from here only

I agree, ServiceNow's online documentation is comprehensive and most importantly UP-TO-DATE.
The problem with writing a technical book on ServiceNow is that in 1-2 releases they go out of date, and can become misleading (e.g. recommend implementing a feature via business script while the same is already available out-of-the-box as a checkbox).
P.S. I'm the author of the Spinning Up ServiceNow book (not technical)
