We want to reduce the count of unknown CI types showing as unresolved monitored objects in the ITOM dashboard.
The events coming from a source are having node names, those node names are created in a non CMDB CI table. Hence we are unable to bind the alerts with CI name, since they are not part of CMDB CI table.
Is there any solution to our problem ?
How can we bind the entries from a non CMDB CI table to CI in the alert ? If we do not bind them with CI from CMDB in event rules, they are getting created in the unresolved monitored objects list.
