Reference field does not show the name shows sysid or date created

I have a custom table with a list of countries that is a reference to another table when i submit data it shows the sysid or the date created for the field and i just want the country name. here below is a screenshot, when i choose United States if shows the date i added that record and not the name United States

it shows created i just want it to show the name.

Which column in the custom table has the "Display" set to 'true' (sys_dictionary record)? That is one possibility for what you see.

none are set to display = true

Hi Thomas42,

Try setting Display 'true' for the 'Country Name' field.  Seems there may be a problem with the List field that references this table.
