I am using a reference field to bring back a filtered list of business applications for a catalog item. The user now asks if it is possible to restrict the columns that are displayed on the list. This is not something I have been asked for previously and I cannot seem to find anything on how to accomplish it. Can someone point me in the right direction?
So it depends on which list you mean. Do you mean the columns that are displayed as you type in the reference field? That is done thru the attributes of the field and the AJAXTableCompleter properties. If you are talking about the window that pops up when you click the magnifying glass for the reference field then you just have to open it and then right click on a column header and configure the list layout. If its something else then you are going to have to supply more details.
The window that pops up when the magnifying glass is clicked. Is that something that can be done in development and will move forward with the update sets, or will it need to be done in production itself?
