Hlo folks,
When I click on 'assigned to' field in Incident. It should accept only users who are part of 'assignement group' selected. But when i click on 'assigned to' field it is showing the recent selections, when i click them it should show it as invalid if selectd user is not part of assignment group selected but it is not happening it is accepting.
Can anyone help on this.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Satishkumar B<,
Thanks for the response.
I understood this code will do the job, but isn't the behavior out of the box. Assigned to person should be part of Assignment group selected.

@Kamatham Suman1 Please try the approach suggested by @Dr Atul G- LNG @Rajesh_Bhise for ootb approach

Hello @Kamatham Suman1,

As per the OOTB design, Assigned to field is dependent on the field values of "Assignment Group" field. i.e. based on selection of group, members would be selected in the assigned to field.

Below is screen shot is the proof of the same(on incident table).

Additionally, simple reference qualifier condition is also put on  assigned to field given as below:

Hence if you first select the assignment group and then click on assigned to search, you will get members of group selected above.

If you want to override this OOTB solution, remove the depedent field value in dictionary and use GlideAjax and script include solution to pop up member if he/she is a member of assignment group.

Hope this solves your issue. Please mark this solution as correct and Helpful if it resolves your concern and you get more knowledge on your query.

Happy to help you in future.

Thank You,

Rajesh
