related list calculation

hi i have created two tables called resource plan and rate card where i set rate card a related list to resource plan, 

each record in resource have different rate cards as related lists. Now my problem is when ever i update a working hours in particular rate card table total sum of all working hours should display in estimation field in resource table how to calculate it ?
