Removal of Notification Devices

I have not been able to find an answer about removing devices.

I have a user who created a notification device (cell phone) for the on-call phone for his assignment group.   Now he has transferred to a different job and wants to remove the phone from his profile (notification preferences).   The device is in-active, but he wants to have it gone completely.

Can I delete the record from cmn_notif_device table without any dire consequences?

Hi Andy,

                Set up a mobile notification device for a user use the same way to delete the device for the user you are trying to delete device.

I don't see where to remove the device...

Click on the name of the device Notification Preferences you will get the Delete and Update option for the added device.
