remove --none-- option from dropdown (non dependant)

I have a field that was created as a dropdown with a simple Yes/No choice list. The choice was set to 'Dropdown without --None--" and a default value of Yes was specified. There is no field dependency and yet the Choice list still contains --None--.

Does this field just need to be recreated?

OK, after going into the table and removing the values that had already been set to "--None--" for some records, the display only shows Yes/No as expected.

Greg,

Did you change the field type of it after creation?

Thanks,

Abhinay

If you change it after records have values in the field, those records will keep their values.   New records should not have the None choice.
