Remove Price and Quantity and replace with variable

Hi everyone,

We are currently improving the Service Portal settings to clean it up. After submission of a request in the SP, the Request Page summary is displayed. What is the best way to remove Price, Quantity, Total and add a variable from the catalog item?

Initially I attempted to Ctrl+ Right Click on the Widget then in instance options I thought there were options to select to add/remove. However I couldn’t locate that, see below. Instead I cloned the scOrderGuide widget and was successful in commenting out the lines to remove Price, Quantity, Total. So far that is good news.

 

However, I am having a difficult time determining how to add a variable (request_name) from the catalog item.

I would like to add the variable in the column next to the catalog item but am having a rough time. Below is a screenshot to explain. Thanks in advance for any guidance or best practices you can share.

Hi @Gemma4 

 

I think there is no OOB way to do that and it makes absolute sense to be in that way because the request is meant to hold multiple RITMs (in case of order guide OR multiple catalog items order) in such cases it will be confusing too when it comes to which variable you want to show on request.
