I am trying to identify how I can remove some links from a list view but leave others. I found this wiki article, http://wiki.service-now.com/index.php?title=Personalizing_Lists. This article only describes how to change the "Link Roles". If I do that all the links change.
Preferably I would like to keep the link to the item in question but remove links to the assigned to.
Has anyone else found this to be an issue and/or found a solution?
(edited to add clarity subject for people searching)

In the Wiki Article mentioned there is a small section called "Advanced Control". If you don't see the script fields just add them to the form. I know this doesn't solve your question but hopefully you can use it to figure out your question. I don't know if you can specify which fields have links or not. I am guessing it is for the whole record but at least you can base it on something other than the role alone.

I did not figure this out. I changed what shows up on the list from Requested Item to Short Description as it is not a link.
I then removed the Cog (ui macro list_mechanic) from non-itil users.
I still would like to be able to do this, so if anyone else is still looking into this I'd appreciate it if you add a note on this thread.

I ended up protecting this a little differently. I used "contextual security" to block access to most of the sc_cat_item from ess users. So, when itil or ess click on the link the next page only shows them: title, and description. This way I continue to allow users to do list edits and the name of the service catalog item remains in the list.

This post was last updated in 2009. Has this functionality now been enhanced in 2013 (Calgary or Dublin release)?
Thanks,
