Report not showing the "Show Other" expanded view

I have created a report for my manager.   He really wants to see the expanded information that comes with the "Show Other" checkbox when you create a bar graph.   I have the box checked and when I run the report I have the + symbol at the bottom to expand it out and see more information.   However, my manager does not.   He has the admin role just as I do.   See screenshots below for reference.   We are on Helsinki patch 3.

Hi davidccs,


SHOW OTHER options is used to show the column "OTHERS" if you have more than 12 (or 10,15,20...) columns inside your chart.


If you have less than 12 columns, you will not see the OTHERS column.

Ok.   So how do I get that expanded view for my manager then?   Why do I have it and he doesn't when we have the same roles and it is shared with him?   That is the main thing I need.

This worked and shows the information.   However, what is odd is that my manager does not have the ability to toggle if the information is shown.   It is simply shown or not based on that display grid.   I however, have a toggle "+"   or "-" button I can click to expand it or not.   How do I get it to where my manager will have that same option?   Refer to below what he sees now.   Still not toggle but the information is there:
