I need to create a report on incident table to identify top 20 requests raised on last 3 months based on short description and also identify that those incidents are assigned to which team and also need to identify that assignment count as well for those top 20 requests. Please help here which type I need to use the best graphical representation of the report and the steps which I need to follow.
thanks in advance

@Lahari532 find the below steps:
🔹 Step 1: Create a New Report
Navigate to Reports > Create New.
🔹 Step 2: Define Basic Details
Name: Top 20 Incident Requests by Short Description
Source type: Table
Table: Incident
Type: Stacked Bar (recommended)
(or Pivot Table/Heatmap if you prefer tabular view)
🔹 Step 3: Add Filter Conditions
To restrict to the last 3 months:
🔹 Step 4: Group by Short Description
Group by: Short Description
Aggregate: Count
Top N: Check Show top → set 20
🔹 Step 5: Stack by Assignment Group
Stacked by: Assignment Group
This will show, for each top Short Description, how many incidents were handled by each team.
🔹 Step 6: Configure Visualization (for clarity)
Type: Stacked Bar (or Heatmap if you prefer tabular style).
Enable Show Data Labels
Optional: Add legends, color scheme, and title.
🔹 Step 7: Save and Share
Save the report.
Optionally add it to a Dashboard or Scheduled Report.
📊 Why Stacked Bar is Ideal
Clear comparison: Shows request frequency and responsible teams side-by-side.
Color-coded groups: Easy to identify which team owns which request type.
Top-N clarity: Focuses only on the most common issues.
🔄 Optional Enhancements
Add a Drilldown to view individual incident details.
Add a second report showing assignment count per group in tabular form.
Use a Pivot Table if you prefer an Excel-like view:
Rows = Short Description
Columns = Assignment Group
Values = Count
