Restricting Email Sending in Test Instance

I am trying to configure my test instance to allow notifications to be sent/received by one group of users.  Enabling email sending/receiving is global, but is there any other way to restrict email from being sent so I can test just for one group of users?

Hi Heather,

Typically in the past I've always set the glide.email.test.user property to a dl in order to test email. That means that no matter what they email will be sent to that address. If you need to check what email or group it was supposed to send to you can look in the email logs.

glide.email.test.user

How do I locate that setting?  Is that in outbound/inbound email configuration?

in application navigator, type email properties and click on the same.

 

there you will see the mail ID to which all emails will be sent.

It is, it's under System Properties > Email Properties, the second property on the left. I would also take a look at the links I posted for more details.
