Hi Community ,
I am trying to bring email mini compose into RITM view in service operations workspace according to some states and specific catalogue items .
For that I added the email attribute to sc_req_item Table and now for every RITM in workspace , I can see the mini email compose .
Now i need to restrict it so that only if the RITM is of Item => CAT_ITEM1 and State 15 (custom state) , The email compose should show on workspace .
In my understanding It should be done by duplicating the default record variant page of RITM with less order than original and go to show mini compose and add condition to that .
But how do i add this specific conditions to the mini email compose .
That's where I am having confusion.
Is there any better ways to achieve this functionality ?

Hi Thank you for you reply @IbrarA ,
But the thing is when i added the condition in visibility the whole additional comments section is also gone with the mini email compose. Is there any other way to achieve this?

Hi @irfan_fedserv ,
That property doesn't take true or false. It expects the strings ALWAYS or NEVER, which is why its default binding reads "IF(@data.record.isEmailClientEnabled, "ALWAYS", "NEVER")". A boolean on component visibility is what took Additional comments away with it.
Your original idea was right. Clone the SRP Record page variant, deactivate the out of box one, then select Activity Stream Compose on the clone.
On that component, open Show email mini compose in the Advanced section and bind it with this:
function evaluateProperty({api, helpers}) {
var rec = api.data.record;
var show = rec.cat_item.value == 'CAT_ITEM1_SYS_ID' && rec.state.value == '15';
return show ? 'ALWAYS' : 'NEVER';
}
Additional comments stays put because you're setting the property instead of hiding the component.
Thanks
