Scheduled Report No Longer Working

We have a Daily Scheduled Report that emails a team a set of three Excel files, which has been working fine for years.  All of a sudden today, it sent out three PDF files instead of the usual Excel files, and if you try to open them, you get the message "The sender does not have access to this report".

I think I may have an idea why this started happening, but do not know how to fix it, and my searches have been fruitless thus far.  Our manager, the person who stood up most of our ServiceNow environments, terminated employment yesterday.  So I am thinking maybe the report is somehow connected to him, and the fact that his User record is no longer active may be causing the issue.  If I open one of the underlying reports that is being sent, I can see it was created by some OTHER user though (who is still active).

So I am not sure where I need to go make updates to allow this to work properly again.  Is there some kind of "Run as user" setting for Scheduled Reports that needs to be updated somewhere?

Thanks

I found it.  It is under "Scheduled Email of Reports" and the field is "Run as".  It is not shown in the default view of the records, so you either need to add it to the List View or the Form View in order to see it and update it.

@jmiskey : Thanks for the repsonse.i checked run as and he is active user. in my instance

Sorry, that worked for me.

If that did not fix it for you, I have no idea what your issue may be.

If you cannot figure it out, you may want to open a HI Ticket.

@jmiskey :Thanks for the reposnse,,,what if run as is empty in that condition will be report be scheduled?

I don't know, you would have to try it and see, but I thought you said that it was set an active user?

I would recommend not just setting it to any active user, but one who typically has permissions to the see the data it is reporting from in ServiceNow.
