I am trying to build a way for others to put in a change request that will transfer to a schedule (dashboard).
We deal with disaster recover which includes table top exercises, failover/fail backs and maintenance. I'd like to build a function that personnel can put in a request for a Table Top exercise/Failover/Back, submit, and upon approvals flows to a calendar view dashboard so that we, as the DR team, can see what Table top exercises, failover, etc are projected or requested. Similar to change management but for a specific purpose. I can either add manually or allow it so the owner requests.
Process looking something like:
Person decides we need a Table top exercise for X reason.
They go in, submit a request for Table Top Exercise with predefined fields to fill out.
It will go to Disaster Recovery personal to approve/disapprove
Flows into a Dashboard/scheduler and places it on the calendar for DR personal to see what is upcoming.
And or, we get request, I manually add to a scheduler and it is visible to a dashboard.
I haven't found something that is intuitive and easy to explain and I'm pretty dumb when it comes to Service now still.
