SCTASK Approvals Not Appearing in My Tasks Open Tab in Portal

Hi,

I am working on a requirement where approvals need to be displayed in the My Tasks widget under the Open tab.

Currently, the Open tab is displaying approvals generated at the RITM level. However, in our scenario, approvals are being created at the SCTASK level because we use parallel processing. As a result, when an approval is generated on an SCTASK, it does not appear in the My Tasks widget.

Could someone please help me understand how this can be achieved? Specifically, I would like to know:

• Which component or logic is responsible for fetching approvals for the My Tasks widget?
• What changes are required to include SCTASK-level approvals?

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

   For My Tasks configuration, you can check To-dos configurations.a related a can be added to query the approval[sysapproval_approver] table and filter approval where target record is SCTASK[sc_task]

  in To-dos configurations -Create or Update the related configuration to query the approval table and restrict the result associated with the records from sc_task table

You can take a look before you build anything new. The Approvals entry isn't meant to be type specific, it just reads sysapproval_approver and doesn't mind what the approval sits on. So if RITM approvals show up and SCTASK ones don't, there's usually a condition somewhere narrowing it down.

search sn_hr_sp_todos_config.list on filter navigator, open the Approvals record, and check its condition. Then look through the Task Configurations related list for anything tied to one particular reference table.

One thing to keep in mind, the Approvals - Completed and Approvals - Rejected records need the same treatment, as each tab has its own setup.
