Search Bar in service portal

HI, The current “Search” bar does not instantly suggest items when the user types in letters but rather resolves the item name when most of the word is typed

I have a requirement such to Resolve names and suggest items as soon as the letters/text are being typed by the user.

I want help with this Is there any OOB functionality for this.

Define the search source in your portal , it may be missing open the portal config and in realted list in search sources add the necessary sources.

Could u please help me with the solution on how to improve the service portal search bar so that it shows suggestions after single letter typed.

you can try this also.

1) Goto Sys_properties.list

2) search for sysid is c7792ff60f0033003ff3cbb2ff767ed7

3) Open that record and change Value to "Typeahead".

4) Try to clear cache and search.

Hey thank u for the solution when i tried the vale was already set to typeahead .i tried clearing cache seems like the issue continues  . It would be really helpful if i would get more solutions to solve this issue ,thank u
