Search issue on the portal

Hi All,

I have configured four catalog items with user criteria so that they are visible only to HR agents on the portal. These catalog items include a “Requested for” variable (of type Requested for).

However, due to the applied user criteria, HR agents are unable to select non-HR users in the “Requested for” field, as the selection appears to be restricted to users who meet the same criteria.

I would like to resolve this issue so that HR agents can select non-HR users in the “Requested for” variable, without changing its variable type. How to achieve this?

Thank you

my thoughts

-> by default system checks whether the user in Requested for matches the same criteria and restricts

Workaround

-> change catalog item's Access type to "Delegated" on that catalog item record

Did you know? "Requested For" Variable Type and it's lesser known features!

Available For affects Requested For variable on catalog item
