Can SNOW directly send emails to an SMTP server instead of going via exchange ? I mean sending email to xxxxxx.corp.gwpnet.com , port 25.
This server is already smtp enabled so we may not need to use exchange at all.

Can you do #1 just to make sure? Will save us trouble later.
Also, which release are you on?

Best Regards.

OK, can you get it working from Outlook first? It'll be much better to troubleshoot there than in SN. You need to come up with a test email address you'll be using and make sure you can send email to that address from Outlook via the SMTP server and confirm receipt.

I need to log off in about a half hour, so I'll prepare the steps for you while you're sending a test email to the SMTP server.

Yes, we have a test mail ID for that server and I am able to send mail to that ID via outlook and we are able to see the mail in that mailbox as well.
Best Regards.
