Send the same email notification on 2nd day, 4th day and 6th day

Have a requirement, that need to trigger the same notification to the User/requester when the Inc is in Pending status  and doesn't get a reply from user. This is kind of auto follow-up that user will receive upto 3 notifications from the first notification sent. Email interval is 2 days and should be  on business days.

I have already a field , capturing the no of days in pending status  in a BR. Can i use the output of the field (no of days in pending status ) in a scheduled job and trigger the notification ? Or do i have to calculate the durations again ?
