Hello All,

We have a requirement in service catalog.  Catalog form will have a feild called "service line" which include 3 options(imaging, bio, other) when we select imaging or other RITM should create but when we select bio project should create automatically and process should end

Can someone suggest if this is achieveable if yes how it can be done please?

@Prasanna_Patil  Can you please elaborate on what do you mean by "when we select bio project should create automatically and process should end" ? When you Select Bio option should it end the flow end itself or create somethhing in some another table?

Hi @Prasanna_Patil ,

The moment you stay on the catalog item to submit a request for these options, you will end up creating an RITM. However, you can do this:

  1. Create a Record Producer to create a Project.

  2. On the existing catalog item, when the Service Line is "Imaging" or "Other," stay on the catalog and allow submission.

  3. When the Service Line is "Bio," have a pop-up saying ("You are being redirected to create a project") and redirect to the Project Record Producer.

This way, you will not create unnecessary RITMs, when the Service Line is "bio."

If you don't need a redirect, then create the RITM, but when the Service Line is "bio," close the RITM and create a Project. You can handle all these scenarios in one flow.

Hope this helps!
