Service Portal search limit results on multiple portals

Hello!
My workplace is currently implementing a second esc portal. One demand that we have is to make sure that when the search functions are used the only results that show up should be the ones that exist on the current portal. But what is currently happening is that both portals is giving hits on everything.
Setup
Portal 1:
Has 5 knowledge bases
Contains multiple catalog items
Portal 2:
Has a taxonomy only
Is it possible to limit the search results to only things that exists on the respective portals?

Define the search sources on the respective portals.
Navigate> Service portal> Portals> open your portal and look for search sources, knowledge base , catalos:
- Mark as New
- Bookmark
- Subscribe
- Mute
- Subscribe to RSS Feed
- Permalink
- Report Inappropriate Content

Thank you for the response.
We are currently using AI search, so the option doesn't appear. But maybe we should remove AI search so we can use search sources again.
Or do you how to solve the problem while using AI search?

AI Search is still in developing phase, so better to remove AI search and chekc.

I have tried now by doing the following:
Turn off AI search
Added Knowledge Base to search
Added 1 knowledge base to knowledge bases in the new portal
But I get search hits on articles that exist in a knowledge base that is not connected to the portal. Will the search always search for every knowledge article if Knowledge is chosen as a search source
