Service Portal Simple List Links Not Working

When creating a simple list widget in Service Portal, the Incidents and RITM's appear as expected, but when attempting to click on them to take you into the record, nothing happens.

when you click on the pencil icon on the widget when its on a page you will get a pop up. in there what is you LINK TO THIS PAGE option selected as? I have mine set to "ticket'.

I'm trying to this for a list view of KB articles but the articles don't open
