service portal table values sorting only initial page not on the hole records

We have custom widget to show the record LIST view- the widget will show the  30 records in each page

when sorting the data - it will sort only the first page results not entire LIST .

I am new to SP development - please advice how to fix this in instance level.

so widget is already created then what's not working?

On what data are you sorting? And with that: what kind of 'sorting' do you do? Just an extra filter, or are you doing a group by?

And since you mention it is a custom widget, you will need to share your code. We can't check your instance, so without knowing what you did, the answer will be just guessing.
