Hello,
We are working on getting the Service Portal up, and have encountered a strange behavior.
There is one container with a 12 section added, that contains the Breadcrumb widget. Below this container is another container that is a 12, and contains the Catalog Homepage Search widget. When in preview mode, the Breadcrumb widget partially displays in the Catalog Homepage Search widget.
How can I correct this? I do not want to put the Breadcrumb widget in the Service Catalog Search widget because I want the Breadcrumb widget to be on the gray background, not on the blue background.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Laurie

Per your screenshot they are not.
I can see where they are in the same container and they are connected. Look at the difference between mine and yours. You'll see what I'm talking about.
You may be misthinking what is a container and what is a column...
Here's a more focused image showing the other container chosen, with a gap, and then the top not.
In your screenshot above, they are literally touching together, there is no gap, thus it means you have them in the same container, but just different columns inside.

Hi,
I'm slightly confused by your wording, but I think I got it. You need to add a separate container for the breadcrumb widget, and a separate container for the rest of your page, be it the service catalog page. So it looks like you have the two items in the same container. Here's my instance:
Separate containers, nicely spaced out (you can see the dotted line difference):
Then when I go to preview:
Not bleeding over in to the service catalog area.
Those don't look like separate containers, you can double check that by clicking container where the breadcrumb is housed and clicking the pencil in the upper right-hand corner and you'll see the container name and order number. Then click on the service catalog image or blue image and look for container again in the upper right (you may need to really be precise with your clicking and click outside of a widget, but still within that section) and you'll see most likely the same container name and order.

Hi Allen,
They are definitely in two different containers. I tried completely removing, and re-adding, and the breadcrumbs still bleed over.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Laurie

Hi Allen,
Touchy little bugger! I couldn't get it to work by dragging and dropping the "12" into the container. I had to use click on the "+" sign in the container, and then select "12".
Thanks!
