ServiceNow ATF

We are implementing SPM as our business solutions. We are about to start our testing for Sprint 1.

We have written manual tests of sprint 1 stories based on Acceptance criteria using test management 2.0 plugin(ALL > Test Management 2.0 > Tests) 

We have gone through the training materials from NowLearning for ServiceNow ATF, Test Management 2.0, Agile 2.0 etc. We have also done some practice in serviceNow ATF by creating automation test of service catalog form. 

But we don't have real time experience of using ServiceNow ATF for our business solution. 

We are seeking advise from experts of ServiceNow Community. 

What is the best approach to start using ServiceNow ATF? Should we start using ATF from the beginning? Should we first do manual testing? Is it possible to use ATF for all tests related to SPM ?

Can we convert all our manual tests into automation tests using ATF ? If yes then how to convert it ? Please Advise.

Greetings!!

You can use ATF for testing purpose. It is good to use but with experience, don't plan to go 100% in one go.

There are few areas where ATF is not fit like UI level changes etc.

Now the question come can we move manual test case to automation

Yes, but 100% I doubt. So to do this, first you need to know more about ATF and its structure. 

For this go for ATF micro cert.

2. Build a the small test case.
