ServiceNow caching list views?

Ahoy,

lately, our users started to report an issue which looks like a read replica x cache problem.

Often when they close a task, and this task is closed effectively, and they navigate to the task list view, the task still appears as Open for some period of time (often up to 30 minutes). They refresh the page, and the task is still Opened in list view or related list view.

Have anybody encountered similar issue? How to remediate this?

I hope this is not happening on your production instance.

If its happening on your production instance, I would recommend you to check the following.

  • Are all the user impacted by this, or only a certain set of users.
  • For the users who are affected, are they all logged into a specific node.
  • They can check the node they are logged into by hitting the URL-
    instance_name.service-now.com/stats.do
  • If all of them are from or multiple other nodes, raise a support case with Hi, and ask them to do a restart on the selected nodes.
