Use Case:
In Service Now Form, I want to Place the button inside a section.
Instead of having the button on top it will be inside a Section.
Is this possibble?

Hi @ican
UI action can be place on top or bottom of form. As per your statement /need it is not a feasible case in SN.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hi Ican,
This usecase is simply not feasible as there are limited OOTB features for UI actions that display at different areas of the form/record.
If you found this reply useful, please mark it as solution/helpful.
Thanks and regards,

No, it's not possible to place a button inside a section in a ServiceNow form using out-of-the-box functionality. The ServiceNow form design does not allow for this level of customization. Here are the key points: - ServiceNow forms are designed with a specific layout in mind, which includes a top bar for buttons. - The form sections are meant to contain fields, not buttons. - Customizing the form layout to this extent would require significant changes to the underlying code, which is not recommended or supported by ServiceNow. - Any such customization could potentially break other functionality and would likely not survive upgrades. - It's recommended to use the standard layout and functionality provided by ServiceNow for forms.

Hi,
Some more explanation would help understanding your question.
But in general, if you are talking about the classic UI (UI16) and UI actions, then, no, I don't think that is possible.
If you are talking about the Configurable workspaces, and working in UI builder, then you can place a button pretty much everywhere (although not inside the sections of a record form view).

Something Like this. Instead having the Buttons on the Upper Right, it will be inside a Form Section.

UI actions can be shown on top right or on bottom of record.
Your requirement is not feasible and you cannot place UI actions in any section
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
