ServiceNow PDI keeps hibernating frequently even within 24 hours of accessing it

I have a ServiceNow PDI that I have been using for about 3-4 months. About a month ago, the instance went into hibernation within 12 hrs of it being accessed and it took about a day for it to come up. This happened again today and the instance does not wake up immediately. Usually when the instance hibernates due to inactivity, it comes up online again pretty quickly after sign-in.

I have a lot of test data on the instance and I don't want to lose it by refreshing the instance. I always ask to be notified if there is maintenance activity but I have never gotten any emails (yes, I checked my spam folder).

1. If the instance is restarting because of errors, where can I check this?

2. Is there a way to backup/transfer my data the next time this happens?

I am using the Washington DC release.

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

Backup and restore you PDI data using GITHUB

FYI, earlier Backup and restore feature was available for PDI's which is disccontinued since 15 DEC 2022

Hi @skhodke I am seeing a PDI warning message banner on the login page for the past 3 days now. Hopefully they restore access soon. I know my PDI has been unable to wake for the past 10 days and I use it regularly. Good luck!UTUB_0-1747843716598.png
