Is it possible to have a form with required fields where the requirement is turned off if a file is attached?
Here is an explanation for context. I have a form for a user to fill-out for an item where some fields are required. I also have a link to an Excel worksheet they can fill out and attach to the form when they are needing multiple items. I wish to keep it so that specific fields are required if they are using the form without the attachment, but not require these fields to be populated in the event they utilise the attachment method.
As a bonus if this is possible, would it also be possible to have the required fields disappear when a file is attached?
The current work-around being used is having a checkbox they can check to specify they are using a worksheet. When this is checked, the fields do vanish and they are no longer required. I am wishing to see if this can be done based on a file being attached rather than the checkbox being checked. They will still need to attach the file, so this will just remove a step.
