Set Business Criticality of Hardware items

Hello,

We currently point our Incidents and Request to the same Category of Hardware Items.  We now need to set Business Criticality of that list so they will populate the priority correctly when an Incident is created.  To do this, do we need to add those Hardware items to a new table or place on an existing table so that we can set independent Business criticality's for each.  Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
