Hi,

I would like to add an image in the HTML field as a default value in the knowledge base form like below which doesn't seem to be working. Anyone facing the same issue ?

1) Adding image in db_image table - test.png

2) In knowledge base form, "set default knowledge field values" given as <img src="test.png">

3) In article form the same html tag displays instead of the image

4)

5) If I manually use the same tag as a source code, it displays the image.

Can anyone assist on this please ? I would like to set the default value specific to knowledge base, open to any other solution.

Hi All,

There is documentation already on this behavior which can be found within KB0728427

https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0728427

This is known technical limitation within the platform and there is no permanent solution available yet.
We can try leveraging the platform's template feature (Toggle bar) instead
