Set state on SC_TASK from RITM

Hi Service Now Community,

 

I have a requirement to change the state on the Catalog task based on the state of the RITM and vis versa if possible? 

So when the RITM is changed to 'work in progress' the catalog task state is also 'work in progress'. I also would like it to work in reverse so if the catalog task state is updated then the RITM state is updated.

I have tried creating a business rule for this but its only working on the catalog task, I'm not sure how to get it working for both. 

 

Business rule is set to run AFTER on INSERT and UPDATE for the condition if the State changes.

 

Any help or advice on this would be appreciated 🙂
