Setting auto number for tables which are extended from task table

Hi All,

I have a custom table which has a different number field and it is extended to task table. when ever a ticket is created the number is auto generated but when I search using that number it doesnot get populated. The actual number is stored in task table how do I change this.

Yes I am searching in global search. But the problem here is I have two number fields one from task table and other for my custom table, when a ticket is created I have two numbers generated for example 1234 on task and 1235 on custom table.

Hello Shaik,



When you are creating the table click on control and mark auto number as true ,then the auto number will automatically generates.

Or you can change from the number maintenance also.
