Hello,
Some of our users struggle with issue when they want to select Configuration item from lookup list on change or incident form, the list has long response time for them.
Could you please advise what could cause the issue?

These kind of issues seems to tough to investigate. Check is any new filler or any new code has been added in these fields or observe for 1-2 days and then raise HI support.
