SOME Reference Fields in List are not showing as Hyperlinks

I'm seeing something really odd in matrix table.

The Brokerage field is a reference - pointing to the Broker's record. As in the screenshot, SOME of the fields are not clickable:

I know that:

- this is not an ACL issue, I have access to everything

- the XML for records that work and those that don't are identical

- lookups to this matrix work fine, regardless of whether the link appears here or not

- it's not a node issue, it's persistent across instances and users

But what the heck is happening here?

Anyways, just so we're on the same page. I'm not talking about lookups to the record on the form and the reference field (and whether the selection is showing while searching in the reference field). I'm talking about on the underwriting table...once the record is saved there...is the hyperlink there for the "Brokerage" reference that it's pointing to. So if you create a brand new record with the brokerage field referencing hyndman & company (as seen in your screenshot), manually, is the hyperlink there and working as appropriate?

Something else to check is on this list view, right-click any column header and choose Configure > List control and then see if there's anything in the Omit links (condition) and see if somehow there's some script there that's causing this problem (as sometimes people use this feature to remove links in various scenarios).
