Some varaiables not visible in portal, but available under maintain items

Hi Experts,

We are facing issue with a few catalog variables not displayed on portal but it is available under catalog item.

When I give 'try it' those variables are showing on the page, But while accessing through the portal those variables are missing. We are facing this issue only after Rome Upgrade.

Did anyone aware of this issue or faced this issue, any suggestions /help is much appreciated.

PS: Already checked 'Visible on guide' is set to True

Hi Ankur,

I have raised a call with Hi team. And they were able to solve this issue.

After Rome Upgrade Some of the UI Policies no longer work on Portal, whereas the classic platform view for the same works fine. PRB1521744 - problem record for this know issue.

As a workaround, they asked me to create the following system property (sys_properties) record:
- Name: glide.sc.ui_policy.use_cache
- Type: true | false
- Value: false

what type of variables are those?

Are those of type Custom having UI macro in it?

UI macro won't show on portal.

Hi Ankur,

I have attached a screenshot of the 2 missing variables. Iam not sure about the custom UI macro. Those 2 variables type seems to be Reference & Multiline text. Correct me if iam wrong.

Hi,

for admins or for non-admins those are not visible on portal?

If this was working fine prior to upgrade and you are sure nothing changed after upgrade then raise HI ticket.

Its visible for no one. I have submitted a request in Dev. The variables not visible on portal, but displayed on the request on the Ritm form. Screenshot attached.

Sure Will raise a call with HI team.
