Hi Geet,

There is no any effect in your tool , activating any plugin just add new functionality in your tool.So not to worry about any thing.

YOU can take help from below link:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/london-platform-administration/page/administer/localization/task/t_ActivateALanguage.html

NOTE: Mark correct or helpful if it helps you.

 Warm Regards,

Hi Geet,

  1. If i activate this plugin what will change in my tool?

> For Spanish translation you have to activate I18N: Spanish Translations plugin.
It will convert the labels of your OOTB forms fields to Spanish(Refer below screenshot).

      2. How can i test it?

 > You can check it by clicking on the gear icon on the header and select spanish from the Language picker.

    3. Do i need to take care of anything specific?

    > It will not convert your custom table columns and custom fields in Spanish.
To convert, you have to configure the labels.
       Refer Translate a field label

Mark If Correct/Helpful.

Hi

adding on to ajay's explaination,

It will change only the OOTB field names and content that is given by servicenow. It will not change the text that you have written inside it. For check try to enable the Spanish language and see the portal. The oob widget names will be changed to spanish but if you write your own description there, it won't change it.

Regards.

you mean if i a ticket is logged by a spanish user and as i am English user and i write something in description of the ticket or work notes or additional comments , so everything will go in English, it will not get translated?

But if a spanish user writes something in spanish in that form and then as i am a resolver group member so i will get that text in spanish only?

Am i right?
