I have a requirement where the standard change approval should go to the configuration item's approval group(change_control) after they select save and populate the CI on the propose a new standard change proposal ( Cause I have deactivated the request approval button on that RP ) which is fine cause I removed the change management group on the assignment rule and made the necessary changes on the workflow as well. But two things which I am not able do
1) Copy the cmdb_ci from the existing standard change proposal which was used to create the template initially to the form which open when you modify or retire that template. ( In reference to the std_change_proposal which opens once we select request approval on the RP )
2) Dynamically populate the assignment group on the std_change_proposal form to the CI's approval group
