Start Microsoft Teams Chat UI Action – Failed to execute backend request error

Hi Team,

I am facing an issue while trying to initiate a Microsoft Teams chat from ServiceNow using the "Start Microsoft Teams chat" UI action.

🔹 Issue Description:

When clicking on the UI action, the popup opens successfully, and I am able to select participants. However, upon proceeding, I receive the following error:

"Failed to execute backend request."

Please check below message for the error.

Has anyone faced this issue before? Please let me know how to fix this.

Hi @Sirri 

Navigate to Manage token .

Confirm Access Token and Refresh token is in place 

AND refresh token is not expired.

Check what access has been given on the token. (from scope)
