state field is not highlighted when HR case is updated via email

Hi 

We had configured, when the HR case is updated other than assigned to, the state is highlighted with green color in list view of the Agent workspace for HR Case management. 

But whenever the HR case is updated via email response, it is not being highlighted. 

 

Could anyone please tell me how to fix the issue.
