Stop Delegate Approver Functionality for custom application

Hi All,

In ServiceNow, as there is Delegate Approver functionality, so that for a user, if delegate is assigned, then the approval record created for the user, will be shown for both the approver and also the delegate.

Can I stop this delegate approver process for my custom application, without deleting the delegate record for that user.

In my custom application, I have built a flow using Flow designer, and through "Ask for Approval" step, I am creating approval records. So, if delegate is there for the approver, then the same approval record is showing for delegate also. How to restrict that? is there any option to achieve this?

Yes, OOTB delegation works for all. You can install the Granular Delegation plugin, set up the rules for this, and use it.

No, mate. OOTB has no restrictions, whereas with the plugin, you can set restrictions as needed.
