Hi Maneesh,
Instead of trying to script against the default behavior of legacy Inbound Actions (which are hardcoded to copy attachments automatically), the best solution today is to switch to Flow Designer.
The "Zero Code" Solution:
Create an Inbound Email Flow instead of an Inbound Action.
Navigate to: Process Automation > Flow Designer.
Trigger: Inbound Email (Set your conditions like Subject or Recipient).
Action: Create Record (Select your Expense table and map the fields).
Why this solves your problem: Unlike legacy Inbound Actions, Flow Designer does NOT copy attachments by default. In Flow Designer, attachments are only copied if you explicitly add the "Copy Attachments" action. Since your requirement is to skip them, you simply create the flow without that specific action, and the system will create the Expense record without any attachments automatically.
It is cleaner, requires no scripting, and is easier to maintain.
If this recommendation solves your issue, please mark it as Accepted Solution.
Best regards,
Brandão.

Hi @Maneesh Pandiri ,
Attachments are processed before the script runs, so clearing or deleting them in script will not work reliably.
you can use the Flow designer for this requirement .

don't copy the attachment then
Why are you deleting it after allowing to add?
