System Definition Scheduled Jobs vs. System Scheduler? What's the difference and which one should I choose?

What is the difference between "System Definition > Scheduled Jobs" vs. "System Scheduler > Scheduled Jobs"?

Which one should I use?

Is there an equivalent functionality in "System Definition > Scheduled Jobs" to the "job context" element in   "System Scheduler > Scheduled Jobs"?

Here is some documentation on that.

System scheduler

The Scheduled Jobs module in System Definition is an admin-friendly front end for scheduling work. Use this module to create new scheduled jobs.

Basically, you want to use System Definition > Scheduled Jobs to create your scheduled jobs.

Is there a "Job Context" functionality for the System Definition > Scheduled Jobs ?

Cool!   I finally got it!   Start in "System Definition > Scheduled Jobs", then can control in "System Scheduler" with finer detail, etc.!

Thanks!!!

Hi Victor,

You'll see this in various places on Service Now, they are links to the same place! System Scheduler is the application built around scheduled jobs to give you some additional information on how your scheduled jobs are going as well as a list of the jobs and the option to create new ones.
